Step One: Glitter the bottle

To create an ombre effect, use the darkest colour first and finish with the lightest. I used two shades of pink and finished with gold to tie in with the gold label on the top of the bottle.

Cover around 2-3 inches of the bottom of the bottle in white craft glue and sprinkle with the darkest colour of glitter. Repeat with the next shade up until your bottle is covered in glitter as far up as the cap. The glue on the bottom of the bottle will still be a bit wet, to stop it sticking to your work surface place the bottle on a piece of grease proof paper and leave to dry.

Once dry, gently tap the bottle against your work surface to remove any excess glitter. The fallout will also help the different sections of glitter blend together.

Spray with a generous amount of hairspray to seal the glitter.

Step Two: The Finishing Touches

Add a small bit of hot glue to the straw and place on the front of the bottle. If you don’t have a glue gun, use a little white craft glue.

Finish by tying the ribbon in a bow around the middle of the bottle.
